Shop Operations Associate

Retail sales, customer service, stocking, and daily shop support. Scuba experience is optional. Weekend and summer availability is required, with support for advancing your diving journey.

Independent contractor opportunities

Divemaster & PADI Instructor

Assignment-based guided dives, Seal Dives, course assistance, and PADI instruction. Contractors sign an annual agreement, valid through December 31 and renewed each year. Once approved, you receive the released schedule and sign up for the assignments you want, there is no minimum, and previous assignments do not guarantee ongoing work. A current PADI professional rating is required.

  3. Independent contractor pathDivemaster or PADI Instructor: certification and verification number, teaching status and insurance, CPR/First Aid/O2, experience, references, and an acknowledgment.

Finish with Submit

Complete each section on your path, review your answers, and click Submit in Google Forms. Wait for the thank-you confirmation to know your application was received.

Your submitted application is stored using Google Forms and a private review spreadsheet, with an email notification to Portsmouth Scuba. Please do not include your Social Security number, date of birth, medical information, or financial account details.
